Gladiator Gambit is a free browser card game. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, the play server at play.gladiatorgambit.com, and Google Sign-In.

Who we are

Gladiator Gambit is operated by the people who run gladiatorgambit.com. The game is a personal project, not a large company.

What we collect

• Account name. The display name you choose (3–16 letters, numbers, or spaces). Other players can see this name.
• Password accounts. If you create a name and password, we store a one-way hash of the password. We cannot read the password itself.
• Google Sign-In. If you tap Continue with Google, we ask Google for the standard sign-in scopes: openid, email, and profile. We keep your Google account ID so we can log you back in. We do not keep your Google email or profile name on the account after sign-in. Email is held only for a few minutes while you pick a display name, then discarded.
• Session. After you log in, your browser stores a session token in local storage so you stay signed in.
• Play data. While you are online we keep lobby presence, match state, and chat (lobby, in-game, and private whispers) so the game can run.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers. We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number, or payment details.

How we use Google user data

We use Google Sign-In only to create or open your Gladiator Gambit account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, or any purpose other than authentication. We do not sell Google user data. We do not share it with other companies except the hosting providers that run this site, and then only as needed to operate the game.

How we use other information

• To run accounts, matches, and chat.
• To show your display name and messages to other players in the lobby or match.
• To keep you signed in on this device.

Sharing

Other players see your display name, whether you are in a game or the queue, and any chat you send in a channel they can read. We do not sell personal information. Hosting is provided by Cloudflare (the website) and Fly.io (the play server). Those providers process data only to deliver the service.

How long we keep it

Accounts stay until you ask us to delete them. Google email from a new sign-in is dropped after about 15 minutes or as soon as you finish choosing a name. Session tokens last until you log out or we clear them. Chat and live match data are for the current session and are not used as a public archive.

Your choices

• You can play with a name and password instead of Google.
• You can log out at any time. That removes the session token from this browser.
• To delete an account, contact us using the details below. We will remove the stored account record.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version at this same address and update the date at the top.
